At First City Homeless Services, we see the value in everyone and individual strengths. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2008, we’ve remained driven by the same passion and ideas that initially founded our organization: support, empowerment and respect. First City Homeless Services provides assistance and guidance to those who seek help.
Facing the challenges and addressing the root causes of homelessness requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and a willingness to try new ideas. First City Homeless Services emerged out of a pursuit to provide services and shelter to our community members, and a desire to provide resources to individuals seeking support and stable housing.

Each and every one of us has the capability to contribute no matter their experience or background. With this strength behind us, we envision an inclusive community in which all people have access to basic requirements and live with dignity, while individuals seeking secure, permanent housing have access to support and resources.
